Restorative Care

Responding to the Need for Restorative Care: Restore One is a ministry that seeks to open safe homes that are Christ-centered free of cost to male victims of domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST) and Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE). According to Shared Hope International 2012 Shelter Report there are no long-term recovery safe homes within the United States designated solely for male DMST and CSE victims. Restore One recognizes the need for safe homes designed specifically to serve these boys. The Anchor House will be our first shelter that provides refuge and restoration to adolescent boys, ages 12-18.

The Anchor House

The Anchor House Mission: The Anchor House, a program of Restore One, is committed to providing residential care that is trauma sensitive, holistic and Christ-centered specifically to domestic minor sex trafficked and sexual exploited young men ages 12-18.

The Anchor House Vision:
To provide care that helps young men victimized by domestic minor sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation overcome difficulties and live free, fruitful and fulfilled lives.

The Anchor House Values:
Excellence of Care+Christian Faith+Holistic Approach

Our Progress: Restore One owns a sizable piece of land in Eastern North Carolina. We plan to break ground mid-January 2015 on phase one, which is the first cottage that will house 4 boys and a large main building where daily life will happen. Our goal is to complete Phase One by early 2015. The complete Anchor House project will be three cottages and one large main building built to serve a total of 12 boys. Please see attached design of the project.
