Meet Our Board
Steve Grant, Board President
Steve is a successful financial advisor and partner with Aspect Wealth Management in Greenville, North Carolina. He grew up working nearly every available position in service, parts, finance, and sales in the family business, Grant Buick Mazda, while earning a degree in history from East Carolina University. When not at work or school, he immersed himself in intensive flight training eventually earning Airplane Commercial Single Engine land & Multi-Engine Land licenses with an Instrument Rating as well as a Flight Instructor Certificate. He is also a Certified Rescue Diver. A long-time resident of Greenville, he is happy to call Open Door Ministries his home church where he has served as the drummer in the praise and worship band and also worked on the production team. He lives with his wife Shannon and their four children, two boys and two girls. Of all the hats worn throughout his business career and roles filled in life, he strongly believes none are more important than that of a father guiding his children and breathing life, discernment, and wisdom into their lives. In his spare time Steve enjoys cycling, playing drums, flying, reading, and taking his family, including their golden retriever Bentley, on camping trips.
Anna Smith, Board Vice President
Anna is Co-Founder of Restore One. She is a Master Level Social Worker and a 200 Registered Yoga Teacher. At Restore One, Anna collaborates with leading trauma experts to develop innovative safe home care for boys who’ve exited the life of sex trafficking. She enjoys using her knowledge and personal experience to strengthen and stand in freedom with others through speaking, writing and advocacy. Journeying through her own recovery process, she understands that healing is a painful yet beautiful path we must take to receive freedom. Anna believes healing is possible for everyone, no matter age, gender or situation - it is possible. Aside from her work at Restore One, Anna enjoys throwing pottery, writing and teaching yoga. She also loves to adventure outdoors with her husband, Chris, and play with their dogs Titus, Barnabas, and Moses.
Pastor Brian Maciaszek, Board Treasurer & Secretary
Brian Maciaszek is the Chief Financial Officer and one of the pastors who has been on staff at Reimage Church for close to 9 years. He is married with five children three boys(22,18,16) and two girls(14 & 4) which were adopted from China. Brian and his wife of 20 years have a Orphan Care Ministry called Not Forgotten and look to continue to adopt more children. Brian is a graduate for Oklahoma State University with a BS in Aviation Science minoring in Business. Our family has a heart for what is God’s and believe that children are to be cherished not purchased!
Patrick Porter is a Financial Advisor with AXA Advisors, LLC. He is a life-long resident of Greenville and is married to Melanie and has two children, Alex and Charlie. He graduated with a degree in Accounting from NC State. He is a member of Covenant Church in Winterville. He also serves on the advisory board for The Salvation Army and is a member of the University City Kiwanis Club. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son’s sports teams, and being on the water whenever possible. Patrick is extremely excited to be a part of this ministry and knows that God plans to use Restore One to help destroy the trafficking of our young people, especially boys.
Entesar ("Starr") Abdelhadi
Starr Abdelhadi began her work combating sex-trafficking in 2015. She found her passion working as a volunteer for Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sex-Assault. She is a former intern for the Department of Homeland Security where she worked closely with Criminal Investigators on sex-trafficking and child exploitation crimes. With her Master's Degree in Cyber Security, Starr has published her first piece on cyber sex-trafficking and modern day technology. While strongly committed to empowering others, Starr is a firm believer of self-care and self-love. Starr uses her personal time to compete in body building competitions pushing her both physically and mentally. Her overall love for health and fitness has guided her to an abundant life.

Stephanie grew up in an Air Force family, received degrees in Social Work and Special Education in Georgia, and enjoyed a two-year stint at Asbury Seminary in Kentucky. She married a pastor from North Carolina and they pastored a 2-point charge for 15 years in Bailey, NC. She is currently in Greenville, NC, where her husband has been on staff at Covenant Church for 13 years. They have one wonderful daughter and three wonderful sons, and one wonderful daughter-in-law! The dog and the cat are pretty great, too. She is thankful to have been involved with Restore One since its earliest days as a member of the Anchor House Committee. Her function on the Restore One Board will be as liaison with the Anchor House committee. Her greatest joys include being a pastor’s wife, homeschooling her children for 20 years (and retiring!), and advocating for and encouraging the Persecuted Church- especially in Ethiopia. “And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me until I declare Your strength to this generation, and Your power to all who are to come.” Psalm 71:18
Pastors Whitman and Ressie Toland, Spiritual Advisors
Whitman and Ressie Toland moved from Asheville, NC to Greensboro in 1999 and planted what today is known as "The Church on 68". Having served on staff at The Rock Church in Asheville for 10 years, Whitman and Ressie, along with their 4 sons, launched a thriving local church built on 4 kingdom principles: Giving, Serving, Worship and Prayer. With a call for regional Kingdom impact, serving on the Board of Directors for Restore One is but one avenue that allows them put their hand to plow of seeing lives Rebuilt, Repaired, Revived and Restored.
