Patrick Porter is a Financial Advisor with AXA Advisors, LLC. He is a life-long resident of Greenville and is married to Melanie and has two children, Alex and Charlie. He graduated with a degree in Accounting from NC State. He is a member of Covenant Church in Winterville. He also serves on the advisory board for The Salvation Army and is a member of the University City Kiwanis Club. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son’s sports teams, and being on the water whenever possible. Patrick is extremely excited to be a part of this ministry and knows that God plans to use Restore One to help destroy the trafficking of our young people, especially boys.
Mike is married to Jill, has two adult daughters, and lives in the Kansas City area. As an attorney for a number of private-sector companies, he has held roles in commercial real estate, management and legal departments over the years. Currently, he functions as the General Counsel for a mortgage company. Mike obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s in Public Administration and J.D. degrees from the University of Kansas. He is excited to pursue volunteer work as a way of giving back. Active in his church, Christ Church Anglican in Overland Park, Kansas, Mike has been involved in men’s ministry and most recently served on its 12-member Parish Council. Other volunteer activities include working with MOCSA (the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault in Kansas City, MO), where he has been a speaker, facilitator for male survivors, and trainer for volunteers. Mike first became aware of the issue of boys being sexually exploited about 2.5 years ago, and in his search to find an organization actively focused on this underserved population, he discovered Restore One. He has since had many conversations with the founders and traveled to Greenville to tour Anchor House and meet others involved. Mike gives all the glory to God for His leading to this place and this ministry - to stop the trafficking of boys. As William Wilberforce, the great British abolitionist from the 18th century, once said to members of the Parliament about slavery, “You may choose to look the other way, but you can never again say that you did not know."
Stephanie grew up in an Air Force family, received degrees in Social Work and Special Education in Georgia, and enjoyed a two-year stint at Asbury Seminary in Kentucky. She married a pastor from North Carolina and they pastored a 2-point charge for 15 years in Bailey, NC. She is currently in Greenville, NC, where her husband has been on staff at Covenant Church for 13 years. They have one wonderful daughter and three wonderful sons, and one wonderful daughter-in-law! The dog and the cat are pretty great, too. She is thankful to have been involved with Restore One since its earliest days as a member of the Anchor House Committee. Her function on the Restore One Board will be as liaison with the Anchor House committee. Her greatest joys include being a pastor’s wife, homeschooling her children for 20 years (and retiring!), and advocating for and encouraging the Persecuted Church- especially in Ethiopia. “And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me until I declare Your strength to this generation, and Your power to all who are to come.” Psalm 71:18
